"Self -Accountability and
Self-Care"
.
SELF-ACCOUNTABILITY
1. Helps you get unstuck, it is an essential tool for effective growth and meeting targets.
2. Accountability means taking responsibility for our actions and decisions. By doing this, we stop blaming others for what happens in our lives, we take back control and make necessary changes to show up better in life.
3. Without self-discipline it's hard to get anything done, and accountability becomes even more difficult
4. Refuse to play the victim by complaining about a situation, take ownership, and accountability for the decisions you made.
5. People lack accountability for many reasons ranging from laziness, fear of failure, and a sense of feeling overwhelmed by problems or situations.
6. Where there is a lack of accountability the responsibilities are unclear. People usually procrastinate with no sense of direction, nothing gets done or accomplished.
Many people confuse accountability with responsibility
The main difference between responsibility and accountability is that responsibility can be shared accountability cannot.

SELF-CARE IS THE BEST HEALTHCARE

1. We all experience times when we need to take a step back and focus on ourselves. Who else will give you the love and nurturing you need the most if not yourself- No one!
2. Self-care is not selfish, you must fill your own cup before you can pour into others
3. Self-care is nurturing your PHYSICAL, MENTAL, EMOTIONAL and SPIRITUAL well-being.
4. Although happiness is in giving, we must seek out ways and engage in practices that allow us to live our fullest expressions, creating boundaries without being overburdened or exhausted by what we give to others.
5. Self-care looks different for everyone. Take time to reflect on activities you enjoy doing, that make you feel good, give you a sense of meaning, and leave you feeling relaxed, energized, and refreshed.
6. While some self-care activities might provide temporary relief, gratification, and escape from underlying stress, anxiety, or emotional discomfort. True soul care goes beyond fleeting fixes, addressing the root causes rather than merely treating the symptoms.
7. While there is nothing wrong with enjoying a relaxing spa day, treating yourself to your favorite dessert, getting a massage, listening to music, exercising, cooking baking, making art, reading a book, doing puzzles, going to the movies, watching tv, shopping sprees, vacations, meditation, exercise, education, all fit into the spectrum of self-care. We must take time for our inner work as well.
8. To truly care for our souls, we must be willing to go deep within, confront our wounds and insecurities, unravel our own triggers, face our traumas and limited beliefs, self-discovery, growth, and lasting well-being. This is a journey that requires courage, introspection, and a genuine commitment to the health of our innermost selves.
As a coach, I am here to listen and support you, help you find your truth, discover unhidden potentials by removing Limited beliefs, and teach you fundamentals so you can begin to show up in the world and live your best life.
